Leva Bonaparte and Craig Conover were involved in a blowout fight at his Sewing Down South holiday party last December, which aired on Thursday night’s finale of Southern Charm season eight, but where do they stand today?
Following the airing of the dramatic finale, which saw Craig kicking Leva out of his company bash, Leva admitted that she and Craig were completely estranged from one another for months before coming face-to-face at the reunion taping earlier this month.
“As of that night, the nature of my friendship with Craig and a couple of other people on the cast drastically changed,” Leva admitted to Page Six on September 29, confirming that she and Craig didn’t see or speak to each other for nine months.
“With Craig and I, it’s just sort of a culmination,” she continued of their feud.
According to Leva, who unfollowed Craig shortly after their finale encounter, she had grown increasingly irritated with the way he was treating his former girlfriend and her close friend, Naomie Olindo.
“You see Craig the entire season basically sort of just having big emotions and expressing them in a very assertive manner,” she continued. “In my world, [that’s] slightly disrespectful, a little bit like crossing my boundaries.”
After Leva told Craig not to refer to Naomie as his “crazy f-cking ex-girlfriend,” Craig told her to stay out of their drama. And ultimately, during Thursday’s episode, he drew his line in the sand by removing her from his event.
“You didn’t catch a lot of it, but he was screaming at one of my best friends like continually, continually, continually, and innately that’s sort of why I left Auldbrass (a cast trip) early,” Leva explained.
Following months of not talking, Leva recalled being brought back together with Craig at the “rawest” reunion “ever.”
“We’re no longer close, but we spoke at the reunion and you’ll have to sort of tune in to see the context and where that lands us now,” she teased, noting that “so many things unsaid” were revealed.
Now, weeks later, as fans await the reunion episodes, Leva feels “more resolved” with certain castmates while other members of the shows have gotten their “access denied.”
Although Leva also unfollowed Madison LeCroy after she sided with Craig amid their finale fight, Madison apologized to her on her birthday in May.
“So we’re heading down a road, you know,” Leva noted.
The two-part Southern Charm season eight reunion begins next Thursday, October 6, at 9/8c on Bravo.
